DR. TARA MALTA

Dr. Tara Malta earned her Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA. Dr. Malta then attended and graduated from the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. After graduation, she worked at Sullivan Veterinary Clinic in Winnsboro, La for four years before joining the Cooper Veterinary Hospital staff in April of 2006.

Dr. Malta is interested in all aspects of small animal medicine and soft tissue surgery. She is also very interested in wildlife and exotic animal medicine and surgery. Dr Malta is dedicated to top-quality, cost-effective veterinary medicine with an emphasis on client education that will improve and extend the quality of life for our pets.
